If you have recently had a hankering for some retro games gameplaying, you should really try it out. There is nothing around today which quite compares to the experience offered by these older games. Asteroids was my favourite game growing up, and despite its overwhelming simplicity, still ranks as one of the most difficult games, as well as one of the most addictive games that I can remember playing. All of the old Atari games are something which I, and many of my generation still remember fondly. Even if you have since lost your Atari 2600 for some reason, you can easily find an online version of the game. One thing which I find disappointing about this alternative however, is that you can’t use the Atari 2600 games controller. I got so good at using that, that not being able to play some of my favourite games in the way that I’m accustomed to, is difficult to accept.
