Continuing With Your PS2

When the new generation games consoles were released, a lot of people decided to put away their old consoles, and focus exclusively on the games which you can play on the new consoles; with their better graphics, and more extensive, and more interactive, worlds. While there is a lot to be said about how good these games are, it shouldn’t mean that you can no longer play some of your old favourites from the previous game generation.

While it is easier to play PS2 games on a PS2 console, there are backwards compatible PS3’s available. By using one of these, you can play an older generation game on your new console, but it is a bit more complicated than playing them on your PS2. Most of the older models of the PS3 come with this capability, but more recently this function has been discontinued, so that Sony can cut back on some of their production costs.
